Gandhibhavan Mercy Home
At Kottarakkara Valakam, Dr. Poikayil Alexander leads 25 years of free palliative care. A beacon of mercy, offering medical compassion and dignity to patients in their most vulnerable moments.
Gandhibhavan Snehasramam
Nestled in Velamanoor, Kollam, this serene haven lovingly embraces elderly parents with dedicated care. Experience peace of mind knowing your loved ones thrive in a supportive, community-driven environment.

Gandhibhavan Snehalayam
Aged men and women are rehabilitated here with proper protection, medical care, physical as well as psychological recreational facilities. Mass contact programmes and cultural shows are arranged for inmates.
Gandhibhavan Trivandrum Office
The Trivandrum Office of Gandhibhavan was established to represent and coordinate its activities across the State of Kerala. The office also publishes Sneharajyam magazine: the thoughts and voice of Gandhibhavan.
Gandhibhavan Rehabilitation Centre for the Disabled
Established in 2008 — a sanctuary for those who are visually impaired, hearing impaired, physically challenged, or bedridden, offering shelter, food, clothing, medical attention, and enriching recreational activities.
Gandhibhavan Service Providing Centre (SPC)
Established in 2008 in partnership with the Government of Kerala — one of the first eleven state-sanctioned centres under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, offering completely free legal services to survivors. We explicitly operate 4 SPCs across various districts in Kerala.
Thulyatha Padana Kendram (Study Centre)
A supportive learning environment for students who haven't passed their exams — transforming setbacks into stepping stones through tailored programs, practical training, and certifications for a fulfilling career.
Gandhi Bhavan Puthur
Near Pangod Devi Temple in Puthur, this homely retreat cradles elderly parents in devotion and comfort. Where tradition meets tender care, creating a nurturing second home.
Gandhibhavan Art and Culture Centre
In collaboration with Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy — conducting drama, Kadha Prasangam, folk songs, and folk dances. Free cultural programs open to all. A permanent Arts & Cultural Centre is in development.
Sureksha Bhavan (HIV/AIDS)
A dedicated HIV/AIDS rehabilitation center confronting stigma with unconditional compassion — providing advanced medical treatment, nutritional support, emotional counseling, and a dignified path to community reintegration.
Gandhibhavan Saranalayam
Thriving in Kareepra, Kollam for 13 years, this community gem shelters elderly men and women through vibrant public partnership. A testament to collective love where every resident blooms with dignity.
Gandhibhavan Legal Aid Clinic (Kerala State Legal Services Authority - under High Court of Kerala)
Bridging the gap between the marginalised and justice — free legal counseling, pro bono lawyers, and rights awareness on domestic violence, labor rights, senior citizen protections, and child safety.
Gandhibhavan Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre
A pioneering rehabilitation program offering compassionate multi-faceted care. Over 200 members live in a secure sanctuary receiving shelter, meals, clothing, medication, arts activities, and vocational training.
Gandhibhavan Women's Commission — A Grade
An A-grade unit of the Kerala Women's Commission established at Gandhibhavan in 2013 — a completely pro bono official channel for women and children to lodge complaints and seek just, dignified resolution.
Gandhibhavan Victim Right Centre (VRC)
Inaugurated by Justice A. Muhammed Mustaq, Kerala High Court — dedicated to providing comprehensive legal support and compassionate assistance to survivors of rape and sexual abuse, ensuring access to justice.
Gandhibhavan Theatre India
In collaboration with Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy — using theatrical productions to fight communalism, superstition, and substance abuse. Currently staging a world-first theatrical portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi's life.
Vayosandwanam — Palliative Care
OCB-certified Palliative Care Unit dedicated to improving quality of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses — compassionate medical professionals attending to physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
Shelter Home for Domestic Violence & Victims
Established in 2015 by the Government of Kerala — the first shelter home of its kind in India — offering counselling, food, medicine, legal aid, and vocational training to women victims of domestic violence.
Gandhibhavan Love & Care
Mangayat Vellarikund's verdant 89-cent paradise, gifted by Shri Κ.Α. Augustine, shelters fifty elders. Where Kasaragod's lush beauty meets daily laughter and heartfelt companionship.
Sanmarga Parisheelana Kendram
In partnership with the Kerala State Transport Department — a moral rehabilitation program for traffic-rule-violating drivers combining structured classes, counselling, and community service to foster road empathy and safety.
Pain and Palliative Care Centre
Approved in 2017 — providing comprehensive, holistic care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses. Skilled medical professionals and devoted volunteers address physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.
Gandhibhavan Sneharamam
In Malappuram's Vandoor, Vaniyampalam, this rented abode warmly hosts mixed-gender seniors since 2018. Community spirit turns walls into warmth, making every sunset joyful.
IPOP Centre For Women
Initiated in 2019 — delivers medical, physiotherapy, and ambulance services directly to older women's doorsteps, ensuring those with mobility challenges receive professional care in the comfort of their own homes.
IPOP Centre For Men
Extending the same compassionate home-based outreach to elderly men — delivering medical, physiotherapy, and ambulance services directly to those with mobility challenges in the community.
Gandhibhavan Literacy Centre
Digital literacy program teaching children, women, senior citizens, and workers to use smartphones, internet banking, email, and government apps — volunteer-led sessions in Malayalam to bridge the digital divide.
Gandhibhavan Old Age Home for Women
A three-story sanctuary built at fifteen crores, gifted by Padma Shri Dr. M.A. Yusuf Ali on November 17, 2022 — housing over 300 mothers with two lifts, laboratory, pharmacy, library, prayer rooms, and ICU.
Gandhibhavan Old Age Home for Men
A new multi-story building generously funded by M.A. Yusuf Ali — accommodating approximately 300 men with emergency services, special care units, modern dining, lifts, and doctors' examination rooms.
