APJ Abdul Kalam Academy of Vocational Studies

This study centre is functioning in Puthoor Town in Kollam district from January 2018 onwards. This is an accredited Centre of Central Govt’s NIOS (National Institute of open Schooling) and STED (Scientific and Technical Education). Somany vocational courses are conducted here for a very low fee. The period of course varies from 6 months to 2 years. 20 different courses are conducted in this institute  Including T.T.C in Yoga, P.G in Yoga, Diploma in Community Health, Homeo Dispensing etc.

            Examination and issuing certificates are arranged by Central Govt. These courses are recognized not only in India, but throughout the world.

            Preliminary works are going on in full swing to start a new branch of this institute in Chirayinkeezhu Town in Trivandrum Dist. We hope to start this institute during the coming year.
