Nevertheless,Sri Punalur Somarajan's soul couldn’t find his destiny. Mental turmoils and sleepless nights were its results. Finally he reached where he wants to be and gave shape to his hope and dreams – a journey or a search to find a shelter (a nest) for those who are mentally derailed, suicide attempters, lonely, depressed and isolated, and them the seed of charity as sworn in him mind.

 

            His ideas which reflected his helping mentality and his strong and intense desire to help the poor and needy in the nook and corner of his state became a matterof serious discussion with his close friends. He went straight a head with his thoughts though many of his friends discouraged him in his pursuits. But some of his senior associates like Sri Vijayan Ampady. (Rtd. Sales Tax Officer),leading Advocate N. Somarajan etc became the partners in shaping and modeling Gandhibhavan. Now Punlur Somarajan (Secretary), Adv. N. Somarajan (Chairman),Vijayan Ampadi (Manager) is working together as Gandhibhavan’s allies.
